Dominate Audio provides professional Hammond organ repair in Charlotte for churches, musicians, studios, and private owners. Our on-site Hammond organ service covers Charlotte, Hickory, Lenoir, Marion, Asheville, and surrounding areas across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia.
We also provide Hammond organ and Leslie repair services throughout the foothills, and Western North Carolina
We provide professional, on-site repair for the most iconic Hammond models — including B3, C3, A-100, B2, C2, BV, CV, RT series and more. Common issues we resolve include weak volume or fading tone, hum, hiss, distortion, crackling, failing capacitors and resistors, AO-10 and AO-28 preamp problems, noisy or slow tonewheel motors, vibrato scanner failure, bad tubes or uneven output, and key, pedal, or contact issues. Every visit includes a full diagnostic to catch small problems early and prevent major failures down the road.
Our Leslie repair and maintenance keeps your rotary speaker performing at its best. We service 122, 147, 145, 251, 21H, 22H, 22R and more—handling motor lubrication, rotor alignment, belt and speed issues, amp repairs, crossover and relay faults, and any hum or noise problems. Every visit includes a full Hammond-to-Leslie integration check for smooth switching and strong output.
Your tonewheel generator, run motor, and scanner motor require periodic lubrication to prevent mechanical wear, startup issues, and unwanted noise. We use proper Hammond-safe oil and wick-friendly methods to extend the life of your instrument.
Our Hammond Care Plans provide yearly maintenance for both your Hammond and Leslie system.
Standard and Premium plans include one additional free visit within the same year — ideal for mid-year tonewheel oiling, motor service, or follow-up diagnostics.

Care Plans cover routine maintenance only. Any repairs discovered during a visit are billed separately for labor and parts. Some repairs may require off-site bench work, such as amplifier, preamp, scanner, or motor-stack servicing.
Care Plans do not renew automatically and must be renewed manually each year. The plans are designed for regular wear, lubrication, cleaning, and inspection—they do not cover electrical failures, burnt components, or full rebuild-level issues.
The first Care Plan payment is due at the end of the initial visit, along with payment for any repair labor and parts. These payments are separate — the Care Plan fee covers maintenance only, while repair costs are billed independently.
Both Care Plans include scheduled service visits and digital documentation of your instrument’s condition.
Each visit comes with a full digital diagnostic report outlining the current condition of your Hammond organ and Leslie speaker, along with any recommendations for future service or maintenance.
While Hammond organs and Leslie speakers are built to perform reliably for decades, normal aging, heat, and regular use can occasionally lead to issues beyond routine maintenance. When repairs fall outside the scope of the care plan, they will be clearly identified, discussed, and handled separately to ensure transparency and proper long-term care.
Both the Standard and Premium Care Plans cover one Hammond organ and one Leslie speaker at the same location. Additional instruments can be added upon request.
The Standard Plan includes two visits per year and focuses on routine maintenance and diagnostics.
The Premium Plan includes three visits per year, priority scheduling, and deeper electrical and component-level inspections for higher-use instruments.
The free follow-up visit allows time to:
It can be scheduled anytime within the same 12-month period.
The plans include inspection, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance.
If repairs or replacement parts are needed, you’ll receive clear recommendations and pricing approval before any additional work is performed.
Additional visits can be added at a discounted rate:
Most visits take 2–4 hours, depending on the instrument’s condition and any findings during diagnostics.

Your church’s Hammond should sound powerful, clean, and consistent — not humming, weak, or distorted.
And your livestream should carry that same clarity online.
Most churches struggle with noisy preamps, slow Leslie motors, distortion in the livestream, or an organ that just doesn’t “cut through” anymore.
This package fixes all of that in one visit.
1. Full Hammond Diagnostic
We check the preamp, tonewheel levels, vibrato scanner, tubes, hum or noise issues, and key/pedal contacts to identify anything affecting tone or reliability.
2. Complete Leslie Diagnostic
We inspect amp noise, motor response, rotor speed, crossover condition, belt tension, speaker alignment, and gain staging to ensure smooth, powerful performance.
3. Hammond Tonewheel and Mechanical Optimization
Your tonewheel is oiled, motors are lubricated, belts are adjusted, the scanner is cleaned, and contacts are cleaned to restore warmth and clarity.
4. Leslie Performance Optimization
We sync rotors, clean up noise, set proper amp levels, remove distortion, and align the rotor and driver for a cleaner, more responsive Leslie.
5. Livestream Audio Optimization
We fix clipping, adjust gain staging, tune EQ and compression, and balance the organ for both FOH and livestream so it sounds clean online.
6. Post-Service Report
You receive a simple summary of what was fixed, what needs attention, and recommended maintenance or upgrades.
